With all these newer phones coming out, I think it’s a little too late.
Palm gave a demo of the Pre running on AT&T’s network just hours ago. We’re assuming that the folks at Palm aren’t stuck using a German QWERTZ – so either this is a sign of things to come with AT&T
By that time, there will be newer phones that will have my attention.

The smartphone platforms that fared the worst were the older, more entrenched designs. Symbian and Windows Mobile were both relegated to the “other” category, which combined only saw 66 percent of users content with their phones.
This dependence on the Profile server is unsettling. All servers go down occasionally, that’s a given. When it bricks your phone in the field, that is a huge problem.
Palm released an update of the Pre software, webOS that now lets you download over-the-air from Amazon’s MP3 Store.
It looks like Palm Pre has given up the fight for good, now betting entirely on Amazon. The company’s original plan to sync with iTunes was a calculated risk and one which now leaves consumers holding the short end of the stick.
A ton of little fixes and improvement, but the big new feature is support for app purchases in the Catalog.
